The vibrant campus of NKT School & Junior College, Thane, came alive as C4Cynergy, founded by Dr Ushavati Shetty, hosted an engaging Coffee Table Conversation on the theme “Heart & Mind in Harmony: SEL and Memory Gym for Future-Ready Learners.” The event was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being) and (SDG 4: Quality Education), reflecting C4Cynergy’s ongoing commitment to nurturing holistic development and emotional wellness in education. More than 30 distinguished principals and educational leaders from various institutions attended the session, making it a vibrant platform for learning, reflection, and collaboration.The program began with a welcome address and an introduction to the theme, setting the tone for an afternoon dedicated to emotional intelligence, cognitive fitness, and future-ready education.

    The first interactive workshop, “Emotional Intelligence & Social-Emotional Learning for Future-Ready Classrooms,” highlighted the importance of empathy, self-awareness, and emotional regulation in creating compassionate learning spaces. Educators participated in reflective exercises and discussions that encouraged them to integrate SEL practices into their everyday classrooms.

    Following a coffee and networking break, the second session, “Memory Gym: Cognitive Fitness Techniques for Students & Educators,” offered practical tools and techniques to enhance focus, recall, and mental agility — emphasizing the connection between emotional balance and cognitive performance.

    The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Mangala Karandikar, an esteemed educationist since 1973 and former principal associated with the People’s Education Society Trust. Her inspiring address drew from five decades of rich educational experience, reminding everyone that the true essence of education lies in nurturing both intellect and character. A Book Cover Launch added a celebratory note to the event, followed by the felicitation of the speakers, the chief guest, and participating principals for their contribution to the cause of education.The event was hosted in collaboration with Sheth NKT School & Junior College Principal Mrs Lydia Salian, whose warmth and impeccable coordination ensured the day’s success.

     The session concluded with group photographs and heartfelt closing remarks, marking a memorable afternoon of meaningful dialogue, shared vision, and professional camaraderie.Through this initiative, C4Cynergy once again reaffirmed its belief that education must touch both the heart and the mind — embodying the spirit of SDG 3 and SDG 4 to create emotionally strong, intellectually agile, and future-ready learners.
